The varying techniques and focus on psychodynamic is to process past experiences and traumas dating back to childhood strongly, as it influences the way we feel about ourselves and others. As well as Joanna wanting to explore transgenerational trauma and cultural experiences to also process the factors and impacts this has to our development and paradigm that may further emphasize the negative feedback one gives to themselves. Joanna will prompt you to explore your past and listen to repeating negative patterns. As a first generation latinx neurodivergent individual she has a passion to help individuals feel validated and understand to be able to connect to their most authentic selves. Joanna places collaboration as a foundation to provide a holistic approach to provide support as well. The self care that she plunges herself in is reading books, watching anime, enjoying hot yoga, road cycling, watching movies, cooking, loves humor, hikes, surfs, art, and enjoying a spectrum of food.
