Aimee received her bachelors degree from California State University, San Bernardino (Psychology) and her masters degree from Azusa Pacific University (Counseling Psychology).  Aimee’s counseling experience began in 2019 when she began volunteering as a rape crisis counselor.  This volunteer work pushed Aimee to change major from teaching to psychology. 

 

Professionally, Aimee has worked with children and teens of all ages and abilities, the LGBTQ+ community, couples, and families with a variety of therapeutic concerns.  Additionally, Aimee also has first-hand experience as a military spouse and understands the hardships that can arise for military families.  Aimee employs a very eclectic approach to therapy and has received additional trainings and level 1 certifications in various therapeutic modalities such as Gottman’s Couples Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
